They recently submitted samples of ‘Pediasure Enteral Nutritional Drink’ for testing at Microbe Inotech, a lab in St. Louis, Missouri. Pediasure is a supposed "nutritional" drink given to ill children in pediatric units. It is loaded with GM corn syrup, soy, and sugar.

Out of 20 samples tested, 6 (30%) were positive for unsafe levels of glyphosate, present at levels above 75 parts per billion (ppb). For comparison, glyphosate at 0.1 ppb destroys gut bacteria in chickens and 50 parts per trillion (ppt) induces liver, kidney and sex hormone changes in rats. 

It is unthinkable to find these alarmingly high levels in pediatric nutritional products used on our children. The finding gives new meaning to the term –‘ubiquitous toxicity’.

Glyphosate herbicide has been linked to toxicity in humans, resulting in cancer, reproductive and developmental complications, neurotoxicity, endocrine disruption, non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, autism and other serious conditions.
