Important Message from PASA's Executive Director
Dear PASA Members & Friends, If there’s one thing on which we should all agree, it’s that we all have a right to know what’s in our food! In a country that often overdoes it in terms of what goes on labels, it’s inexcusable that there are no laws in the U.S. requiring labeling of genetically engineered (GE) ingredients in foods. The vast majority of Americans believe such labels should exist, yet this is another one of those critical areas where industry has our lawmakers held in check so they cannot act on behalf of ordinary citizens.
