April 2, 2012 - MOSES Conference: A Bright Spot in American Agriculture

×
In a time when it is not easy to find something positive in agriculture, the MOSES organization stands out as a beacon and rallying point for forward thinking agriculturists everywhere. This year’s Midwest Organic & Sustainable Education Service conference held in February in La Crosse, Wisconsin was the best yet and is the largest conference of this sort in the United States and probably the world. The 3,310 attendees had the opportunity to tap in to the knowledge of a wide range of speakers covering almost all aspects of alternative agriculture as well as a standing room only trade show exhibiting the cutting edge technology now available to holistic farmers and livestock producers. Hopefully the enthusiasm and positive energy generated there will be a harbinger of things to come.

If you missed this year’s conference, plan to attend next year and mark February 21 -23, 2013 in your calendar as the next conference date at the La Crosse Center in La Crosse, WI.
